By using the Tapt app and services (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be of legal drinking age in your location to use Tapt (21+ in the United States; 18+ or the applicable age elsewhere). By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Tapt is for informational and social purposes. Tapt does not sell alcohol. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. Do not use the App while operating a vehicle or machinery. Know your limits, look out for your friends, and follow all local laws about alcohol. If you or someone you know needs help, contact a local support resource such as, in the U.S., SAMHSA's National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.
You are responsible for your account and for the ratings, photos, and other content you post. Do not post unlawful, infringing, harassing, or misleading content. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms, and we provide tools to report and block content and users.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Tapt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, and promote the App. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for reasonable backup retention and content already shared outside the App.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or build a competing dataset from the App except as permitted by law.
Ratings and community content reflect users' opinions, not Tapt's. We may use, reproduce, and create aggregated, de-identified insights from activity in the App as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may assign these Terms and our rights and obligations, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, without your consent. You may not assign your rights without our consent.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Beer information, availability, and locations may be inaccurate or out of date. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user or third party, on or off the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tapt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any conduct related to alcohol consumption. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) or US $100.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue.
We may update these Terms and will post the new version with an updated date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
